You need to publish the application to allow you to view the data using a web page.

  • This procedure can only be done manually. To access the Add applications manually dialog box you need to click the Add applications manually button in the Create Application Wizard. The Create Application Wizard cannot be used with Smart Instrumentation.

  • You must perform this procedure for each executable file for which you want to view data; for example, the Smart Instrumentation program (Intools.exe), the Administration module (Main.exe), the Import Utility (Import.exe), the Merger Utility (Merge.exe), and so forth.  This includes the Enhanced Report Utility, Smartloop.exe (located in the path <Smart Instrumentation home folder>\bin\) because XenApp also treats it as a separate application.  Publishing the Enhanced Report Utility allows you to use the Explorer windows from the utility via Citrix.

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Citrix > Citrix Studio.

  2. In the left pane, click Delivery Groups and do one of the following:

    • In the main window, click the Delivery Groups tab, select the groups, and in the Actions pane at the right, click Create Application.

    • In the main window, click the Applications tab and in the Actions pane at the right, click Add Applications.

  3. On the Introduction wizard page, click Next.

  4. On the Applications page, click Add applications manually.

  5. In the Add applications manually dialog box, enter the required information.

  6. Click OK

  7. On the Summary page, click Finish.

    If successful, the application will appear under Applications.

  8. Repeat the above steps for each application you want to publish.
