From Smart Instrumentation version 2018 the Security Schema Password by default is lowercase. After upgrading your software from versions previous to 2018, you need to make sure that all your Security Schema Passwords have been changed to lowercase. To do this:

Open the Database Profile Manager.

Select a new profile from your list of profiles and click Save As Default.

Reselect the original profile and click Save As Default.

The procedure automatically changes all Security Schema Passwords to lowercase.

For users with only one Database Profile, after upgrading you need to delete the profile and create it again.
