  1. On the Source Target Connection ,window, under the Source Type column, select Project Package from the Source Type selection box. The Source Target window changes to reveal a Browse button below the caption DDTi File Location.

  2. Click Browse, and navigate to the folder containing the DDTi file you want to use in the comparison.

  3. Select the required file.

    SHARED Tip After selecting the DDTi file, the name and path of the selected file is displayed next to the Browse button.

  4. Under the Target Type column, select the target type from the Target Type selection box. The options are:

    • Oracle DB

    • MSS DB

    • Project Package

    • SI INI file

    SI INI file can only be selected if you have an SI ini file on the same machine as the utility. Selecting this option without an .ini file causes the utility to close.

    SHARED Tip Selecting SI INI file, automatically fills in the required fields for the target. These fields are read only and cannot be edited.

  5. In the Server Name field, type the name of the target server.

  6. In the Database Name field, type the target database name.

  7. Type the relevant information in the Schema Name and Schema Password fields.

  8. Click Connect.
