Convert to Smart Interop Objects (SIOs) - Intergraph Smart Interop Publisher - Help

Use the Generate SIO Utility to convert Smart Model data from PDS (.zvf/.xml only), PDMS, Smart 3D, and IFC data sources to SIOs for a specified Smart 3D model. Converting data to SIOs generates Smart 3D objects based on a common schema that can be moved and modified. You can also synchronize your SIOs in Smart 3D with HxGN SDx for standard (Greenfield) or As-Built (Handover) workflows. IFC Conversion

By default, the Generate SIO Utility supports converting PDS (.zvf/.xml only), PDMS, and Smart 3D data. To convert IFC Smart Model data, you must edit the configuration file provided by the utility. See the Unsupported source types section in Generate SIO Utility. The following table lists the structural objects and their corresponding .ifc elements. Only these IFC structural objects can be generated to SIOs for Greenfield and Handover (As-Built) workflows to SDx.
