Smart Interop Publisher works with the Intergraph Batch Services program to support scheduling the following job types:

Translating source files to Smart Models and Smart Drawings

Creating composite (.svf) Smart Models

Updating Smart Models and Smart Drawings

Publishing Smart Models and Smart Drawings to SmartPlant Foundation
Schedule publishing Smart Documents by selecting the SmartPlant Foundation schedule
option during the publish operation.

You can access the scheduling options through the Translate 
, Compose 
, Update 
, and SmartPlant > Publish 
commands for Smart Models, Smart Drawings, and Smart Documents. You have the option
to schedule Smart Interop Publisher jobs to run once or at regular intervals. If you choose to run jobs at regular intervals,
additional recurring job frequency controls are provided. When you have scheduled
jobs, you can use the Job Manager to review, modify, and delete scheduled jobs. See
Edit Scheduled Jobs.

Scheduling requires the Intergraph Batch Service to be installed. Download the latest version from PPM Smart Community.

Any changes to batch settings or any scheduled jobs related to Smart Interop Publisher using the Intergraph Batch Services application can directly affect job status and Smart Interop Publisher scheduling performance.

You can configure the Run Limit option in Batch Services to define the number of jobs that can be run simultaneously when using scheduling.
Translation and Update Scheduling
You can schedule the translation of source files. For source files that get updated at timed intervals, the corresponding Smart Models or Smart Drawings can be scheduled for updating. Any source files that have been updated cause Smart Interop Publisher to automatically update them at the next scheduled time.
Compose Scheduling
Although you can schedule a compose with Smart Models that have not yet been completely translated or updated, make sure that the Smart Models have at least been translated by the scheduled compose time. Otherwise, the software does not create the Composite Smart Model.
Publish to SmartPlant Foundation Scheduling
You can schedule a Smart Model and Smart Drawing publish to SmartPlant Foundation. If you have not revised the Smart Model or Smart Drawing, the software prompts you to revise when you set up the publish schedule. You can schedule a publish job to run once or at regular intervals.
