AutoPLANT to Smart Construction - Intergraph Smart Interop Publisher - Help

Before you begin, install MicroStation V8i SS3, RealDWG 2013 SP1, and the ProStructures SELECTseries 6 plugin on the system performing the data translation.

The workflow described in this section shows how to translate an AutoPLANT source file into a Smart Model and publish it to SmartPlant Foundation. You can then use the Smart Construction application to access the model data. In the workflow, you also see how to use the AutoPLANT custom mapping file to map a volume property to a Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence volume property, and define the units of measurement string value to be shown in the translated model.

The overall workflow consists of the following processes:

1. Export source .dwg files

2. Define the units of measure (UoM)

3. Create your AutoPLANT project

4. Configure mapping

5. Add source files and translate

6. Revise and publish to SmartPlant Foundation

7. Open in Smart Construction
