Reference Origin East

Specifies the distance east to position the Smart Model as a Reference 3D model in Smart 3D.

Reference Origin North

Specifies the distance north to position the Smart Model as a Reference 3D model in Smart 3D.

Reference Origin Elevation

Specifies the elevation distance to position the Smart Model as a Reference 3D model in Smart 3D.

Reference Origin Units

Specifies the units of measure for the East, North, and elevation coordinates.

Destination Type

Specifies DeltaValue, DeltaDirection, or Absolute for the model position when transforming a model for Smart 3D attachment.

Destination (Value - Value3)

Defines the destination values based on the selected Destination Type:

  • Absolute - Specify the exact destination values.

  • Delta Value - Specify the destination delta or offset values.

  • Delta Direction - Specify the delta directions (Distance, Bearing angle, and Elevation angle).

Destination Units

Specifies the units of measure for the Destination Type.

Side (East) Rotation Angle

Specifies the angle in the east direction to rotate the model.

Front (North) Rotation Angle

Specifies the angle in the north direction to rotate the model.

Plan (Elevation) Rotation Angle

Specifies the angle in the elevation or Z axis to rotate the model.

Scale Factor

Specifies the enlargement or reduction of the model for transformation in the Smart 3D attachment.

Settings Group

Specifies translation settings for the Smart Model. Smart Interop Publisher displays any custom settings groups you have defined. See Define Translation Settings.

Mapping Files

Specifies Default, Custom, or Generic mapping files. See Configure Mapping to Control Model Display.

If you change the Mapping Files, make sure the Mapping Files Location is correct.

Reduce geometry size

Creates a potentially smaller .vue, .zvf, and .bin files. Select Yes to allow Smart Interop Publisher to reduce geometry representations as much as possible without losing the rendering compatibility between all SmartPlant Enterprise applications. This means that the display of graphics must be the same whether you are opening the .vue or .zvf file with Smart Review, SmartPlant Foundation, or adding the file as reference 3D data in Smart 3D. This option can cause a longer load time. By default, this option is not enabled.

The Reduce geometry size and Remove outliers options create GPolyMesh type geometries in the translated Smart Models. Polymesh geometries can impact Smart 3D modeling operations such as placing structures and selecting surfaces or planes to create relationships. You might also encounter problems with clash detection and drawings. For translated Smart Models, clear the selected removal option and Update the Smart Model to remove the issues in Smart 3D.
