Run the Upgrade Project Database Command on any projects that have not been upgraded for the currently-installed version of Smart Interop Publisher. Until you upgrade the selected project, the Register with SmartPlant Foundation Command and all shortcut menu commands are not available.

  1. Click Projects.

  2. Select the project to upgrade, and then click Upgrade Project Database Command . Upgrade one project at a time.

  3. From the Upgrade Project Database Dialog, click Create Backup, and then select a location to store the backup. Make sure the user account under which the SQL Server service is running has write permissions to the folder. This can be confirmed by running Services on your system to see which account the service is running under.

  4. Select a Shared Content Location. This location is required for projects so that Smart Interop Publisher can store application files, project-specific files and provide support for the automated Folder Settings Command feature.

  5. Click Continue.

    Smart Interop Publisher upgrades the project and displays a status message upon completion.
