Why do I need to check out a license?

1. In Smart Licensing Client, click Check Out.

2. Type the number of licenses to check out.

3. Type the number of days or hours for checkout (1 day = 24 hours).

4. Select the product(s) for which you want to check out licenses.

   To update the product list from the server, click Refresh .

5. Click Check Out.

The licensing administrator can specify the products, licenses, and duration for checkout in the Licensing Portal.
