The P.70.73 Order Reference screen can be used to maintain all expediting and inspection related reference data. This screen can be opened from P.70.71/P.70.72 by clicking the Order Reference button.

This screen is a core workflow screen. For more information, see Core Workflow Screens.

In the first (Order) block, the Project field shows the name of the project. If you have the MULTI PROJECT privilege granted, you can see and maintain expediting data for all projects to which you have access. The projects you can access are specified on the A.20.06.02 User Security for Projects screen. If you do not have this privilege, you can only see the data of the project you are currently logged in.

The Order Number field shows the name/number of the agreement. When you open this screen, the order that you have selected on the P.70.71 Expediter Workload screen is displayed. If you want to see or maintain the details of a different agreement, you can select that agreement from the drop-down list in this field. It contains all the orders that are available for screen P.70.71.

The Type field shows the type of this agreement, that is, purchase order or notice of commitment.

The Supplier field displays the name of the supplier.

The Origin field shows the name of the office responsible for the agreement.

The Actual Progress field is only visible if the cursor is placed in the Vendor Progress tab. This field shows the actual progress of the complete order. Based on the actual progress of the requisitions and their tagged items, the progress of an order is calculated with the formula:

(sum of global progress per requisition/tagged item) / number of requisitions/tagged items

To determine the contribution of a tagged item to this progress, a weight factor can be entered in the Engineering Requisitions block. The sum of all weight factors must total up to 100.

Therefore, for tagged items the progress is calculated as:

weight factor * tagged item progress) / 100

In case of split tags, the sum of all weight factors of all detail tags must also add up to either 0 or 100 per master tag. In this case, the progress of a master tag is determined by the progress of the individual detail tags. The contribution of each detail tag to the master progress is determined by the weight factor.

This is only of interest if project default ZP_SHOW_DT is set to Y.

The display of the actual progress always reflects all requisitions, tagged items, and milestones even if you have restricted the display of records in the second or third block by entering conditions in enter-query mode. If you modify the data in the third block of this screen, the value of this field is updated when saving these changes.

Different methods for inspection are available. You can either use the Inspectable, Release Note, Waiver, Release/Waiver Date, NCR Date, NCR Release Date, and NCR Remarks fields provided on the P.70.72 Expediting Details screen, or work with IRCs (Inspection Release Certificates) on the P.70.72 screen, or you can use the features provided on the P.70.51 Inspection Applications screen and its subsequent screens, P.70.52 Attached Inspection Documents and P.70.54 Attached Inspection Attributes.

In the second (Engineering Requisitions) block, you can see all requisitions and their tagged items that belong to an order cycle covering all order supplements. Which data are displayed when entering this screen depends on the context of the calling screen and on the setting of project default ZP_ALLSUPP.

If no requisition data are included in the configuration for screen P.70.71 or if the requisition context of screen P.70.72 is set to 'All Requisitions,' all requisitions and those of their tagged items having individual data varying from the values of the requisition headers are shown.

If requisition data are included in the configuration of P.70.71 or a specific requisition has been selected on P.70.72, only this requisition and those of its tagged items having individual data varying from the values of the requisition header are displayed.

If the project default ZP_ALLSUPP is set to Y (default), data can be maintained for all supplements of the requisition(s) associated with the order. If the project default is set to N, data can only be maintained for the first supplement of each requisition that is associated with the order.

If the project default ZP_SHOW_DT is set to N (default), only master tags are shown. If the project default is set to Y, the master tags and also the detail tags are displayed. In this case, master tags are protected against any updates on this screen. The only exception is the Weight Factor field in this block.

When splitting tags the first time, any order reference data that has already been created on the master tag level is copied over to the new detail tag. When creating additional detail tags later on, the setting of project default ZP_COPY_MD determines which data is copied over. This is only of interest if project default ZP_SHOW_DT is set to Y.

The radio group on the top of the second block is used to determine the volume of data to be shown. The default value of this radio group is 'Distinct Data,' which means that only requisitions are displayed and those tagged items that have individual data differing from that of the requisition.

If you change to the display option 'All Data,' the requisitions and all their tagged items are shown regardless whether data is identical or not. You must use this second option if you want to set individual data for a tagged item for the first time because when doing updates on the requisition level, these modifications are automatically populated to all tagged items of that requisition. If you return to option 'Distinct Data,' the requisition and the tagged items with different values are displayed.

The Ordered by field shows by which fields the displayed records are sorted. By default, the data is ordered by engineering requisition, supplement, position, and sub position. To change the order criteria, click the Order By ... button at the bottom of the screen, or select either the Order by this field ascending or the Order by this field descending item from the pop-up menu available on the field level. If you select Order by this field descending, the field name is lengthened by ‘(desc)’ to show that the data is currently displayed in a descending order.

The Engineering Requisition field displays the name/number of the engineering requisition. If the requisition has been created manually by engineering, the background color is set to cyan. If the requisition has been created because the order type of a manually created order has been switched, the background color is set to red. You can double-click in this field to open the P.70.72 Expediting Details screen where you can see and maintain the expediting details.

The Suppl field shows the supplement number of the engineering requisition.

The Pos field displays the requisition line item number, and the Sub field shows the requisition sub line item number.

In the Proc Seq field, the order sequence number set by engineering is displayed. If project default ZR_PROCSEQ is set to Y, this number is copied over as the position of an order line item. Otherwise, the position and sub position of a requisition line item are copied over.

The Ident Code field shows the ident code for the ident placed on the requisition line item.

The Tag Number field displays the tag number of this requisition line item.

The Commodity Code field shows the commodity code used to identify the material of the requisition line item.

The sizes of the selected ident are displayed in the Size 1 to Size 5 fields.

The Expediting Level field displays the level of expediting. If the level of expediting has been changed, that is, the Revised Expediting Level is filled on the Order Reference tab, this revised level is displayed instead.

The Inspection Level field displays the level of expediting. If the level of expediting has been changed, that is, the Revised Inspection Level is filled on the Order Reference tab, this revised level is displayed instead.

The descriptions of the engineering requisition are displayed in the Short Desc and Description fields.

The Weight Factor field shows the weight factor for the contribution of a tagged item to the actual order progress. This field can only be changed for tagged items, not for engineering requisitions. This field is only of interest in connection with the Vendor Progress tab. The sum of all weight factors on the tagged item level must add up to either 0 or 100. In case of split tag, the sum of all weight factors of all detail tags must add up to either 0 or 100 per master tag.

You can click the Order By ... button to change the order by criteria for the displayed records. When you click this button, a list of values is opened, offering you all the columns currently visible in the form. Select the field by which you want the data to be ordered by in the first place. Then a second list of values comes up, allowing you to select a second field. In this way, you can select up to four fields by which the data is to be ordered. If you do not need any further fields as order by criteria, just click the Cancel button in the LOV box. After the last LOV has been closed, your last query is performed again, this time using the new order by criteria. The data is always sorted in ascending order. The selected and changed order by criteria are displayed in the Ordered by field.
