Smart Materials/Smart Reference Data Version
10.2

If no customization is needed, you can use the standard EXPEDITING template that is delivered with the software.

The Expediting Excel template must contain the sheets ISH (displays the agreement and item shipments) and INTERNAL (used for storing Smart Materials internal data required for the subsequent import of Expediting data).

The sheets RN (displays release notes), IRC (displays inspection release certificates), MCS (displays material certificate summaries), and HEAT (displays heat numbers) are optional. If you do not export/import RN, IRC, MCS, and/or HEAT data, it is strongly recommended to remove the corresponding sheet(s) from the template, to significantly enhance the performance of the export/import.

The fields of the expediting template are listed below with their descriptions. The Mandatory column indicates if the field must be filled (Mandatory=Y) to ensure a successful import. These columns are highlighted with a green background color on the sheet.

Data in fields with names enclosed by # # are imported to Smart Materials. Fields with names enclosed by * * are not considered by the import. If a field is required for the export, but should not be considered by the import, mark it as *FIELD* instead of #FIELD# in the template, to increase the performance of the import.

Data fields not required for the export/import can be omitted. The following fields must always be included on the ISH sheet: #SPLIT#, #ISH_POLI_POS#, #ISH_POLI_SUB_POS#, #ISH_POS#, #ISH_SUB_POS#, #ISH_REVISION_ID#.
