By default, this DBA setting is set to Inactive, this is, the two-factor authentication is not enabled.

If ESUP_2FA is set to Active, the two-factor authentication is activated. If a user signs in to Smart Materials Portal, he receives an email after entering username and password. This email contains the authentication code which must be entered to complete the login procedure. The email is created using the ma_pck_mail_custom.create_msg_text_2fa_sl CIP function.
