This DBA setting defines a verification string, which is used to check whether en- and decryption has worked correctly. Therefore, the verification string will be encrypted on client side and decrypted in database. Once the decrypted string matches the initial one, it is ensured that the encryption was successful and all other decrypted values are valid.
To use the Smart Materials Portal, it is mandatory to specify the SSO_AUTH_HEX_IV,
SSO_AUTH_PASS and SSO_AUTH_VERIF DBA settings. If these settings are not defined,
Smart Materials Portal will not work.
