You can add properties to quote details to provide more information to the bidders about the material, or to allow the suppliers to add information. To enable these properties, do the following:
-
Define the required properties on the Smart Materials Web Tables and Properties page > Properties tab.
If you want to restrict the input of values in the Portal to a pre-defined list, specify valid values or a select statement. For more information, see Define property groups and properties.
-
Define a property set on the Smart Materials Web Tables and Properties page > Property Sets tab.
-
Assign the properties to the set.
Default Value will not be displayed in Portal, and Level is not considered because all properties are always assigned to the quotation details.
-
If you want to set the property to read-only, select Yes the Inquiry cell..
Read-only properties cannot be updated in the Portal.
-
Assign any properties from the property set to requisition line items and enter values if you want to show this information in the Portal.
-
After creating an inquiry from the requisition, assign the property set to the inquiry on P.30.21 Prepare RFQ screen in the Attribute Set field next to the Portal checkbox.
-
Approve the inquiry.
All properties, which are assigned to the property set that is attached to the inquiry, are displayed on the Quote Details – Prices and Quote Details – Overall View screens in the Portal, in the Properties section next to the Identification Details.
-
In the Portal, you can enter values for the editable properties.
The properties which have values assigned can be displayed on the P.30.22 Window 2 screen, using the Item Attachments button.
