This command is used to export the selected node with its sub-nodes and positions, either to an ASCII file in OMI format or to an Excel file. On clicking the button, the List Download window opens with the selected node shown in the BOM Path on top.

  1. In the Export File section, select the OMI Export or Excel Export radio button.

  2. In the Data Options section, do the following:

    1. Select the with Structure check box to export the BOM structure also.

    2. Select the with Position check box to export the BOM positions assigned to the selected nodes.

    3. In the Assembly Options section, radio group to determine the complexity of the download. Select the radio buttons from one of these options:

      1. without Assemblies - The assembly structures present in the BOM positions are not downloaded.

      2. with BOM-Assemblies - Assemblies are exploded and downloaded according to the BOM Copy rule assigned to the ZB_COCP project default.

      3. with Assemblies by Requisition Rule - Assemblies are exploded and downloaded according to the BOM Copy rule assigned to the ZR_COREQ project default.

      4. with Assemblies by Construction Rule - Assemblies are exploded and downloaded according to the BOM Copy rule assigned to the ZB_COCON project default.

    4. In the Issue Status section, select the radio buttons from one of these options:

      1. Selected - Select an issue status from the list in the Issue Status box. Only this selected issue status of the positions are exported.

      2. Best Quantity - Only the issue status marked as best quantity is exported.

      3. Lowest - Only the lowest issue status of the positions is exported.

        When you selecting Lowest for the issue status, it is evaluated on node level.

      4. All - The positions will be exported with all issue statuses, and re-import of the exported data is not possible.

  3. In the Property Options section, to define which properties are to be exported, do the following:

    1. With Properties for Re-Import – Select this radio button to export the properties directly assigned to each position. To prevent import processing performance being negatively affected, no properties are downloaded in duplicate within the path.

    2. With directly assigned Properties in BOM Views – Select this radio button to export only node and position properties that are directly allocated through the node type or the discipline allocation.

    3. With all Properties in BOM Views - Select this radio button to export the node and position properties that are defined in the current BOM view, used by the user who called this function.

    4. With all Properties - Select this radio button to export all variable properties for each selected node and each position.

  4. Click Download to start the download.

    The DBA settings BOM_DOWNLOAD_DEST and BOM_DOWNLOAD_URL must be set properly before starting a list download.
