On preparing requests for quotation, technical evaluation checklists are assigned to inquiries and then copied to the quote summaries when approving the inquiry.

Pre-defined technical evaluation checklists are automatically copied to an inquiry in the following cases:

  • You assign material or service types to an inquiry, either on Prepare RFQ > Inquiry Details or on Inquiry RFQ > Materials and Services page.

  • You assign a requisition to the inquiry on the Prepare RFQ > Requisitions page, whereas the requisition requires a technical evaluation and a material or service type has been assigned to the requisition.

Apart from these automatic assignments, you can assign additional technical evaluation checklists to an inquiry on the Inquiry tab of the Prepare RFQ > Technical Evaluation Checklists page.
