This setting refers to the virtual directory for the downloaded BOM files in the web environment. This setting is required for the Bill of Materials>Maintain BOM page, if you want to download a file on your client after having created a file on the operating system (online mode).

It must point to the same directory as the BOM_DOWNLOAD_DEST setting. Please enter a string like your_server_name/your_virtual_directory without starting with http:// and without a concluding /.

If you have a standard installation according to the Installation, you should have a line in your configuration file on the application server that maps the DBA setting value in BOM_DOWNLOAD_URL to the one in BOM_DOWNLOAD_DEST.

Both entries are ended by a slash independent of the operating system, and the URL does not contain the server name. The format is as follows: alias /your_virtual_directory/ "c:\smat\your_dir/"
