  1. On the Home page, click Site> Warehouse Management > Material Receiving.

  2. Click Create MRR.

  3. Select Release Note from the Create MRR by Receive type list, and click Create.

  4. Select a Receipt Date from the calendar on the MRR Details tab.

  5. Type descriptions of the MRR in the Short Description and Description boxes.

  6. Select a Site Code of the MRR from the list.

    You can select the Site Code only if the project default ZC_BIN_LOC is set to BLOC.

  7. Select a Warehouse and Location from the list.

    The status was set automatically when project default ZC_STATUS was set. You can change it by selecting a status from Receipt Status list. The warehouse, location, and status entered on the MRR header level will be used as the default for the MRR details and the inventory receipts.

  8. Select a receipt status from the Receipt Status list.

  9. Select a Release Note Number and Receipt Status from the list.

  10. Optionally, type the name of the person who has received the material in the Received By box.

  11. Select the Package Number of the MRR from the list.

  12. Select a Currency of the MRR from the list.

  13. Optionally, type the Incoterm, type the name of the company in the Shipper box and shipper reference number in the Shipper Reference Number box.

  14. Type a Selling Price of the material.

  15. Click Populate Selling Price to populate selling price with its unit to the release notes and package items. They are further displayed on the packages screen on the Release Notes and Package Items tabs.

  16. Select Ready for Approval if the MRR is ready for approval. Ready for Approval check box gets enabled when you have line items in the MRR and MRR is saved.

  17. Select Free of Charge check box can be used as an indicator; it is not used elsewhere in the Intergraph Smart Materials.

  18. Click Display Columns to view all the properties and CIPs of the MRR.You can also add/select Property and CIP Names by navigating from their respective tabs. For example, select a Property from the Display Properties tab and click Save.

    • Properties and Display Columns buttons are also displayed in the Inventory Receipts tab.

    • You can also add/edit custom properties using this window.

  19. Click Save.

  20. To add inventory receipt items, click Inventory Receipts tab.

  21. Click Line Items to select all positions you want to add, and click Fill In.

  22. Click Populate Release Notes to insert all the item shipments of the selected release note in the Inventory Receipts tab. Only those item shipments are taken the expected quantity of which is greater than 0 and have not been posted.

  23. Click Populate Package to insert all the item shipments of the selected release note in the Inventory Receipts tab. Only those item shipments are taken for which the expected quantity is greater than 0 and have not been posted.

  24. Click Include Barcodes to include barcodes entered in the Barcodes screen.This button is enabled if the MRR has revision 0 and unposted.

  25. Click ERP Transfer to transfer the ERP data to the ERP system. This button is activated only once and available only if the Incoterm of the release note is marked as 'Site Delivery' in the Incoterms screen.

  26. Click Split Tag to create splits for order line items or item shipments.The newly created split gets added to the Inventory Receipts tab.

    • To post the MRR, click on the MRR Details tab and click Post. To unpost the MRR, click Unpost.

    • Select Yes in the Ready to Post list, to make the MRR(s) ready for posting. Otherwise, select No.

    • When the project default ZC_HEATQTY is set to 'Y', the following happens:

      • The heat number is unique for the whole project.

      • The total of the quantity of individual heat numbers received should match with the line item Received Quantity.

      • Once heat numbers are generated, you cannot update the Received Quantity as it should match the assigned heat numbers.

      • To update Received Quantity, you should delete all assigned heat numbers in the Heat Numbers window.

    • Only when the privilege UNIQUE_HEAT_ DETAILS is assigned, the Unique Number button is available in the Inventory Receipts window in the Heat Numbers grid.
