Companies can have multiple addresses, for example, a shipping address, a billing address, and so on. The address types are used when defining different addresses for companies.

  1. From the Home page, select Administration > Global Setup > Company Setup > Address Types.

  2. Click Add Row.

  3. Type an address type in the Address Type cell.

  4. Enter the Short Description and Description.

  5. Select Yes in Supplier Default to specify that the address type is used as default for the Portal company registration. Otherwise, select No.

    Only one address type can be marked as Supplier Default.

  6. Select Yes in Portal to specify that the address type must be available in the Portal apart from being the supplier default address. Otherwise, select No.

  7. Select Yes in Inquiry Default to specify that the address type is used as default address for inquiries. Otherwise, select No.

    Only one address type can be marked as Inquiry Default.

  8. Select Yes in Agreement Default to specify that the address type is used as default for agreements. Otherwise, select No.

    Only one address type can be marked as Agreement Default.
