MTO_Requisition Node

  1. Click icon to open the Requisition Nodes window to create a new requisition node. For more information on why requisition nodes and templates are used, see Nodes and Templates.

    • Click Open Nodes and Templates to create nodes and templates manually on the Nodes and Templates page. The nodes created on this page will be reflected in Requisition Node select list. You can edit/update templates on this list.

    • The Balance Requisition checkbox indicates whether a node belong to a balance requisition or not.

    • If you select a Requisition template from the select list, you can only edit/update the templates that are missing.

    • After selecting the Requisition template and upon clicking Add Requisition Node the details will be populated in Requisition node tab.

    • The default values for a new Requisition Template row is (-) while the default values for Requisition Rule and Requisition Description Rule assigned to project defaults are (--)

  2. In the Nodes section, click a node in the tree view to open the Requisition Template grid.

  3. In the Requisition Templates grid, type the template name in the Name cell.

  4. Select Yes or No in the Enabled cell.

    If Yes is selected, the rule is included in the MTO job process. If No is selected, the rule is disabled so that it is not included in the MTO job process.

  5. Enter descriptions in the Short Description and Description cells.

  6. Select the Requisition Rule and the Requisition Description Rule from their respective lists.

  7. Enter a unique number in the Execution Seq cell to define the processing order of the templates within a node.

  8. Select the Where Condition, Disposition Rule, Document Type Set and the Email Template Set from their respective lists.

    SHARED Tip To open the main Where Conditions window, click the Open Where Conditions link in the Where Conditions window.

  9. Select Yes or No in the Add Line Item Manually cell.

    If Yes is selected, the calculated quantities on the generated requisition can be changed manually. If No is selected, the only way to change the requisition quantities is to run another MTO job.

  10. Select Yes or No in the Manual to MTO Line cell.

    If Yes is selected, the MTO job attempts to integrate manual line items into MTO line items. If No is selected, the manual line item is available on the next requisition.

  11. Select Section, Category, Property Set, Milestone Set, Blanket Order and Account Code from their respective lists.

    • The Purchase Order MR Scheme and the Purchase Order SR Scheme cells are populated by the values assigned to the project defaults ZR_PO_MR and ZR_PO_SR.

    • The Inquiry MR Scheme and the Inquiry SR Scheme cells are populated by the values assigned to the project defaults ZR_INQ_MR and ZR_INQ_SR.

  12. Select the Balance Requisition checkbox to indicate that the selected node should be used to create balance requisitions.

  • When you select Standard in the MTO Option cell in the MTO Type Details page, it is mandatory to enter data on this page.

  • When you select Balance in the MTO Option cell in the MTO Type Details page, the Requisition Node page gets disabled but a node and its template are auto-created.

  • When you select Template Structure in the MTO Option cell in the MTO Type Details page, it is optional to enter data in the Requisition Node page.

  • Once the MTO is run, Requisition Templates and Split Criteria are auto-created based on the properties given in the Split Criteria and Requisition template grids of the Template Details tab.
