This section displays the positions and properties associated with nodes.

How is the BOM data filtered in the BOM Configuration grid?

The BOM Configuration grid allows you to filter BOM data based on Group, Part, Commodity Code and Ident. The minimum visible/mandatory items on the grid are:

  • Position

  • Issue Status

  • List Status

  • Unit

  • Item Type

If there are no items visible in grid, the reason can be one of the following:

  • No BOM user views (with Default set to Yes) are defined in the BOM Views page.

  • BOM user views (with Default set to Yes) in the BOM Views page are defined but no properties are assigned to this view.

  • No BOM user views (with Default set to Yes) are defined in the BOM Views page and no properties are available.

There are two kinds of properties that are available for showing the items in BOM Configuration grid. The first kind are the properties which belong directly to Positions like "Spec Code", "Short Code", "Group", "Part", "Commodity Code", "Ident Code" ,etc; and the second kind of properties are those which are assigned in the Node Types and Settings and the Position Properties pages.
