After importing the 2D and 3D data, the Smart P&ID Design Validation automatically correlates the corresponding design elements based on the correlation criteria. Design elements that failed to correlate are highlighted in respective assigned colors in the design tree view.
Correlation Criteria

Correlation inconsistency - The design elements with matching attribute values are correlated. Missing attribute values result in correlation inconsistency.

Attribute inconsistency - If the selected design elements have mismatched attribute values, then they result in attribute inconsistency.

Topology inconsistency - If all the components of selected design elements are topologically not in order, then they result in topology inconsistency.
