To modify an existing mapper file:

  1. Select Change Existing Mapper File in the Mapper wizard Options dialog, and click Next.

    The Mapper File Path and Type dialog box is displayed.

  2. In the Specify Mapper File Path box, browse to the selected mapper file path that you want to modify. Based on the selected mapper file Mapper for Data box is filled.

    If the selected mapper file is used to import Smart P&ID data, then you have to select the Mapper File Type. This specifies whether the selected mapper file is used to compare P&ID data against PDMS or ISO data.

  3. Based on the selected mapper file, next dialog is displayed.

    1. If you are importing P&ID data, then the Select P&ID Data dialog box is displayed. Select any PlantGroup level (Plant, Area, Unit, or Drawing) from the PlantGroup Hierarchy section, or select multiple PlantGroups from the PlantGroups section.

    2. If you are importing PDMS data, then the Select 3D-PDMS Data dialog box is displayed. In the input file box, browse and select the PDMS DATAL file(s), or select the folder that contains the PDMS DATAL files.

    3. If you are importing ISO data, then the Select 3D-ISO Data dialog box is displayed. In the input file box, browse and select the POD/PCF/IDF file(s), or the select folder that contains the POD/PCF/IDF files.

    4. The different type of objects and their attributes that are extracted from the specified input details, are used for creating the mapper file.

  4. After the input details are given, click Next.

    The Mapper Wizard dialog box is displayed, and the selected mapper files are loaded in the tree view.

  5. Modify the mapper file by adding new Elements, Attributes, Ignored Objects, and Attribute Value Mapping.

  6. Click CreateXML to create the mapper file.

    The file is displayed.
