You must set lead-in, lead-out, start location advance, and start hole parameters before you create cutting paths. Use Cut Profiles in the State Manager to define these parameters.

The software uses the values you define when creating the cutting path. If you created the cutting path interactively, you can change parameters at any time. Such changes affect the next profile to which you add the cutting path.

To set parameters for leads, start location advances, and start holes:

  1. Click Cut Profiles on the toolbar.

  2. Click Inner Profile or Outer Profile on the Leads menu, depending on the type of profile you need.

  3. Click Lead In or Lead Out to open properties for lead-ins or lead-outs.
