You must set lead-in, lead-out, start location advance, and start hole parameters before you create cutting paths. Use Cut Profiles in the State Manager to define these parameters.
The software uses the values you define when creating the cutting path. If you created the cutting path interactively, you can change parameters at any time. Such changes affect the next profile to which you add the cutting path.
To set parameters for leads, start location advances, and start holes:

Click Cut Profiles on the toolbar.

Click Inner Profile or Outer Profile on the Leads menu, depending on the type of profile you need.

Click Lead In or Lead Out to open properties for lead-ins or lead-outs.

Click the Lead Type, and then specify the parameters for the lead type you selected. The available lead types and the parameters you specify are listed below.
Line Lead
Specifies the Line Length .
Angle Line Lead
Specifies the Line Length and the Line Angle .
Arc Lead
Specifies the Arc Radius .
Line Arc Lead
Specifies the Line Length , Line Angle and Radius .
Line Line Lead
Specifies the first Line Length and Line Angle and the second Line Length and Line Angle .
Custom Lead
Uses the preview image to create the lead. Custom Lead uses the previously opened lead as a basis lead, which you can customize.
Manual Lead
Specifies the specify the Line Length , Dynamic length, and Move start point options.
Edge Start Lead

Click Start Location to specify the advance (the distance between lead-in and lead-out movements on the profile). Select the advance type and specify its parameters. The available advance types and the parameters you specify are listed below.
None
No advance.
Even
Specifies the Distance to set the distance between the lead-in and the lead-out on the profile.
Both
Specifies the Distance of the lead-ins and lead-outs from the start location using two parameters.

Click Start Hole to select the start hole type, and then specify the parameters for the start hole type you selected. The available start hole types and the parameters you specify are listed below.
None
No start hole.
Circle Start Hole type
Specifies the Circle Radius and the Cut direction.
Rectangle Start Hole type
Specifies the Length and Height of the rectangle, the Shift Distance , the Start point location definition, and the Cut direction. Select Start from center if necessary.
Line Start Hole type
Specifies the Line movement Length .
