Help

Custom Import for DXF and DWG files enables you to specify the machining mode and quality class for different elements and text objects by color, layer, or type. This is useful when you do not know whether the part to import uses an import set. You can also edit imported parts quickly and efficiently.

Filename

Displays the name of the file to import.

File name with path

Displays the path of the file to import.

Measurement

Specifies the unit of Measurement. Select Metric, Imperial, or File.

Metric
Measures the geometry in millimeters with no conversion. If the imported geometry is in inches and Metric is selected, the inches are not converted.
Imperial
Measures the geometry in inches; the software converts other units of measurement.
File
Searches the DXF/DWG file for unit of measurement data, and makes the appropriate conversions.

Move to origo
