If you have not defined the required Machining mode for the geometry, you can select only one file from the Custom Import > Filename list. You then make custom modifications to the selected import file. The basic workflow is described below.

  • Select the Machining mode on the Custom Import > Geometry tab.

  • Click one cell in the Color column to apply the machining mode to the corresponding tool. In the example below, Machining mode is set to Marking line Import_Custom Import_Marking line_ICON because the green box is clicked.

  • Point to any cell in the grid to display a preview of the result in the work area.

  • If the cell you click covers several rows in another column, the software applies the Machining mode to all of the rows.

  • Click a cell with a defined Machining mode to clear the mode. In the figure above, the Tool cell is empty in the AcDbText row. This is the row that contains the yellow box.

The part to import has the following entities:

  • Black polylines

  • Green polylines

  • White circles

  • Yellow text

Custom Import displays entity colors as shown in the figure below.
