  1. Click Main Menu .

  2. Select DXF / DWG > DXF /DWG (Set) from the Import menu.

  3. Select an import set from the Import Set list.

  4. Click Add Files Import_DXF_DWG Set_Preparations_Add Files BTN. Browse to the file to import, and then click Open.

  5. Click Import and Save to automatically save the imported geometry to the database.

    The drawing name and part number must be specified with search tags in the import file. Otherwise, this command is unavailable.

    Alternatively, click Import , and then edit and save the imported geometry manually.

    The software imports the file and opens the Import results menu. Successfully imported files and created profiles display on the Imported tab. The software displays any files that failed to import on the Failed tab.

  6. Click Start Editing in the Import result menu.

  7. Click Save, and then enter the drawing name.

  8. Click End Edit.
