Technology Group settings contains base parameters that belong to manual and automatic nesting.
General Settings
Last Part Min Length
The minimum length of the last part to be cut in nesting. Generally, a certain length is required to keep clamps attached.
Remnant Min Length
The minimum length of the remnant in nesting. The left over that is shorter than this value, is considered as scrap.
Profile Part Overlapping
Defines whether the profile part ends can overlap.
Profile Part Rotating
Allows profile geometry rotating when the rotate denial flag is not set to the order position in the database. Rotation angle is -180 degrees. Rotation is by center point.
Profile Part Mirroring
Allows profile geometry mirroring (flipping) when the denial flag is not set to the order position in the database. Mirroring is by center axis.
Collision Settings
Distances of nesting items can be defined.
Part-Part
The distance between two profile parts.
Part-Sheet
The distance between a profile part and the end of the profile.
Part-Technology
The distance between a profile part and technology.
Check Tolerance
Specifies how big of an error in distances is allowed.
Step Length Ratio
Affects the accuracy calculation. The smaller the value, the more accurate is the result. When calculation is more accurate it is also generally slower.
