Message View can be opened to view detailed information about an error, if the error is encountered while using Grid View or Edit Form.
In Grid View, error icon appears to indicate error. It appears on the row where the problem was encountered, next to the leftmost column. In Edit Form, Message View appears immediately when an error is encountered.
To open or close Message View, while using Grid View:

To open Message View, click error icon. It appears on the row where the error was encountered next to the leftmost column.

To close the Message View, click Close Message
on main list toolbar.
To close Error View, while in Edit Form:

Click Close Message
