This table describes the methods available for slanting ends. You select the method using the Parts overlapping property on the Cut Method Settings Properties tab.
Method 0
No overlapping; leave one width of the tool (t) between the two parts.
Method 1
No overlapping; leave one width of the tool (t) between the two parts. Kerf breadth (tβ) is compensated when necessary.
Method 2
No overlapping; there is a straight angle between parts. Angled edges are cut separately. Length of cut tolerance (c) is added between the parts.
Method 3
Overlap identical edges; otherwise, straight cut is required between the parts.
Method 4
Overlap identical angles; otherwise, length of cut tolerance (c) is added between the parts
Method 5
Overlap; cut tolerance is not used.
Method 6
Overlap; cut tolerance (c) is added between the parts except for identical angles.
Method 7
Overlap; cut tolerance (c) is added between the parts.
Method 8
Overlap identical angles; otherwise, cut tolerance (c) is added between the parts.
