When a new product structure group is created, or an existing product structure has been selected for editing, the structure hierarchy can be altered either through the tree-hierarchy of the left side or the tabs of the right side. When a structure node of the tree is selected, its data is read to the right side on the section Active Upper level. The substructures and part lines of the active upper level display on the lists of the middle view. The line which is equivalent to the selected node of the tree hierarchy will also be selected in the lists.
If the selected node of the tree is a part line, the data of this part line’s upper level will be read to the Active Upper level section.
Click Refresh to update the tree structure. A product structure can be taken away from the editing with Take off from editing.
Structure hierarchy can be edited both through the tree and the lists. For example, the required positions can be added to the hierarchy using grid-features of the list. The final hierarchy can then be organized through the tree by dragging the parts to their final places with the cursor.
