Stock contents can be viewed and managed in the Inventory module.

The Stock Items view is divided into three tabs. First, there is the Raw material tab. It allows the operator to view materials throughout their production cycle–materials in stock, materials in production (MIP), remnants, ordered materials, scrapped and rejected materials, used and sold materials, and so on. Each item’s or material pile’s detailed information can be found from this view. Like in most regular list views in SPx SSC, the user can use the presented information fields as search parameters or filters. In this view there’s a sum of weights function for selected rows that is available by right-clicking.

In addition to viewing and monitoring material information, users can change the materials status, location, attachments, and possible information here.

The next tab is Parts and Assemblies. It presents plate and profile parts, assemblies and components with their status, and other detailed information. Like with the materials, in addition to viewing and monitoring item information, users can change the item status, location, attachments, and additional information here.

The third tab is Packages. The packets and their contents can be examined there. Users can move the location of the packages, but the contents of the packages can only be modified in the Packing workshop.

The Inventory Graph presents the material situation as bar and line charts, with time as the x-axis and quantity as y-axis. The grouping can be selected by article, site, product type, material group, and quality/thickness. The data in the graph is based on production planning, production, and purchase events. All this information is gathered in one view to help planning and purchasing.

For stock management, there is also a Storage Locations view in most Workshops. It allows checking the stock or storage place content in the production facilities. If there is a need to move goods to different locations, the movement information can be updated here. The view is categorized for materials, parts, packages, and assemblies, and it has search tools that make it easy to find and select the goods to be moved.
