Items in the tree structure can be inserted, updated and deleted using the buttons in the lower part of the window. Depending on the configurations and the selected branch of the tree, all the functions might not always be available.
Insert a new item

Select an existing item.

Type the new information in the page.

Click Insert.
Update an existing item

Select the required item.

Change the item details as needed.

Click Update.
Delete an item

Select the required item.

Click Delete.
In some cases, an item cannot be deleted if it is already attached or has sub items
associated to it. For example, a shift calendar cannot be deleted if it is used in
a work place, and a work group cannot be deleted if there are work places under it.
In such situations, the software provides an error message. To delete an item, remove
the associated links and branches (for example, between storage location and material),
and then try again.
Insert sub item
To some branches of the tree structure, it is possible to insert sub items such as work places under work groups.

Select the main level, for example, a work group.

Click Insert for the sub item. In the picture above this is the button on the right, under Work Place.
The software creates a new sub item with default values.

Select the new item, and modify its data if needed.

Click Update.
