Primary Work Place
Specifies the default work place for this work group. For example, in the Cutting when creating NC programs. You can only define one work place as primary for each work group.
Show in Load/Queue
Specifies which work places are available in Work Queue and Work Load applications. This feature has been selected for the work places which work queue must be schedule.
Group Work Place
Indicates that the workplace is a group work place. Depending on other settings, the group work place might not be visible in Workshop. In this case, the software combines the new works are first into the group work place. The foreman then directs those works to the actual work places. The group work place selection is not mandatory.
Material Picking Allowed
Specifies which work places are available in Work Queue for making picking list of material. After the material pick list has been created, the material can be selected in Workshop Material Picking.
Combo box selections
User Group
Specifies the default user group of this work place in the Workshop.
Production Line Order
Specifies the work place order in production line.
Calendar
Specifies which calendar is used to calculate the capacity of this work place.
Nestix Module
Specifies the workshop type. The number of available types depends on the purchased licenses.
Pause/Disturbance Reason Group
Rejection Reason Group
Specifies a group responsible for defining reasons. This makes it possible to use different reasons in different work places in the Workshop. If no reason group is defined for the work place, all the reasons without group limitations are visible for the work place in the Workshop.
NC file specific fields
Machine Working Directory
Specifies the system folder that the software uses when you move the NC file for the cutting machine on the shop floor in the Workshop. When you print the NC file in Cutting, the software saves that file to this folder.
NC File Extension
Specifies the extension the software appends to the NC file when that file is moved to the Machine Working Directory. If you leave this box blank, Workshop moves the file without changing the extension. If you type two single quotation marks (‘’) in the box, Workshop moves the file with no extension.
Profile Optimization Type - combo
Specifies the type of profile which can be either for Materials and parts or Material for parts.
Lists for Available and Selected Storages
Storage Locations
Specifies which locations are available in Workshop.
Parameters related to the storage location can also affect which locations are available
in the workshop.
