The basic workflow of Workshop Surface Treatment depends on the settings of the NWSBlastSendType parameter. To begin, select the workplace to monitor on the main page.
Open a workplace

Move the cursor over the work group name.

Click the workplace to open.
The software opens the workplace page. The Sending page displays by default.
Search for an item

Fill in the criteria fields. For example, type an order number.

Click Search.
If any item meets the specified criteria, the software filters the work queue list to display the item.
Send the selected item in blast

If NWSBlastSendType is set to Row, the selected row is sent in blast as is. The software creates no patches for dispatching.

If NWSBlastSendType is set to AutomaticPatch, the software automatically creates a new patch to selected rows when you click the down arrow
and sends it in blast.

If NWSBlastSendType is set to CombinedPatch, you must click Create Patch to create a new patch if the required patch is missing.

Select the patch, and the required items.

Click the down arrow

The software moves the items to the selected patch.

To move an item away from the patch, select the item from the patch and then click the up arrow
.

To remove an empty patch, select the patch and then click Delete Patch.

When a patch is ready to be sent, click Start Patch.

Receiving selected item from blast
After sending patches or rows, you can view the sent items on the Receiving page.

Select the patches or rows to receive, and then click Receive.
The items are received from the blast, and the work phase is completed.
The following example shows a selected patch to be received from blast (1) and a selected row to be received from blast (2).
