The BranchFittingNotinPCF verification report checks whether the branch component defined in the pipe branch sheet is available in the piping commodity filter (PCF).

First, this check tests if either PCF or PipeBranch are in the current export. If neither of them is in the export, the verification check is skipped. If one of both data tables is in the export, the other also needs to appear either in the same export or in the destination. Otherwise, an error is raised. If both data tables are available, each line of the PipeBranch sheet is checked to see if a corresponding line is found in the PCF. The short code must match, and the PCF size range for the header and branch of the spec item must include the header and branch size that is given on the PipeBranch sheet. Also, the branch fitting must have option code equal to 1. If the second size range of the PCF is empty, the first one is used to compare to the branch sizes also.

Unit conversion is not included. If the units do not match between the branch intersection rule and the PCF, the comparison fails because imperial and metric sizes cannot be mapped.

Each line that is missing is reported in the verification report result. Secondary and tertiary short codes are not checked in this routine. If the PipeBranch is empty for a spec, an error is reported as well.
