This functionality allows you to explore and edit idents in the software.

  1. To navigate to the CMS Component Manager, click CMS > CMS Component Manager.

  2. Expand SDB_ENTERPRISE_CONTENT.

  3. Expand the DUCTING node till you reach the CARNESHALFROUNDERDIFFUSER.

  4. Double-click CARNESHALFROUNDERDIFFUSER to view the idents associated with it.

  5. Slide the separator at the right edge of the grid, to the left, to view the Single Ident View.

  6. Click the Ident in the first row view the Single Ident View.

    You can configure the alignment, sequence, spaces, and grouping of fields in the Single Ident View.

  7. Right click on any class and view the screens associated with each of the option in the menu.

You can do the following operations in this view.

  1. Display Idents: Refreshes the multiple idents and single component views, displaying the idents of the selected class in the tree. The components are attached only at the leaf node level, and the tree displays a different icon for these nodes.

  2. Manage Properties: This command enables you to assign properties (CMS Properties / Attribute / Tables) to a selected node in the tree. This command also enables you to cut, copy, paste, and delete properties or drag and drop properties from one class to another class in the same or a different class system. For more information, see Managing Properties for a Class.

  3. Class Layout: This command enables you to define the layout for each class. The layout is defined at the leaf node of the tree only. You can use one or more properties for defining the layout of the class, along with static text.

  4. Edit: This command enables you to cut, copy, and paste a class, as well as rename, search for, and delete a class. For more information, see Edit class in classification tree.

    The Search option has the following options to find components easily.

  5. Manage Class: This command enables you to add, update, and delete a class in the tree at any level. For more information, see Managing Classes.
