To define Smart 3D part class sheets (data tables) for the transfer to Smart 3D, Navigate to Integration > Smart 3D > Smart 3D Configuration and select the Data Tables tab.

Category Types

The following are the category types that define the sheet type.

  • CODE_LIST: This is typically used for Codelist sheets. The data is extracted from the Template designated as the Codelist template.

  • GENERAL_LIST: This is typically used for Operator sheets. The data exported in the workbook can be from any SRD / S3D screen, however, in most cases it is extracted from the template.

  • GENERAL_RULE: This is typically used for Plant Rule sheets. The data exported in the workbook can be from any SRD / S3D screen, however, in most cases it is extracted from the template.

  • PART_DEFINITION: This is typically used for Part Class sheets. The data exported in the workbook comes from Commodity Codes, Geometrics and Idents based on the specs selected in the Transfer Job.

  • PART_FILTER: This is typically used for the PCMCD and PCPD sheets. The data is extracted from Commodity Codes and Geometrics based on the specs selected in the Transfer Job.

  • SPEC_ITEM_FILTER: This is typically used for PCF sheets. The data is extracted from the Specification Items based on the specs selected in the Transfer Job.

  • SPEC_RULE: This is typically used for Spec Rule sheets. The data is extracted based on the specs selected in the Transfer Job. It is either manually created in the Template or generated by the procedures attached to the Data Table.

View Transfer Types

The transfer type represents a collection of the data tables that will be exported into the workbook in a transfer job.

  • On the Data Tables tab, click the Toggle to view all the transfer types.
