  1. To select additional welds, select the lot which is on Hold status and click Manage Welds of Lot in Hold button.

    The Manage Welds of Lot in Hold button is enabled only when you select the lot which is on hold state.

    The Manage Welds of Lot in Hold form appears.

  2. Select the option SelectAdditionalWelds, if you want to select additional welds for inspection.

    1. From the Welder list, select the welder whose welds are rejected in three iterations ( for example, select the welder R029).

    2. From the NDT list, select the NDT for the inspection. ( for example, select RTE)

      Only the NDTs that are defined in the NDE Matrix module are displayed in the NDT list.

    3. Enter the number of welds you want to send for inspection in No of Welds field ( for example, enter 2 in the No of Welds) and click Refresh.

      The list of all welds within that lot in Welds in Lot section. WQMS automatically picks the number of welds done by the selected welder and displays in the Selected Welds in Lot section.

    4. Click Save. After you save, these welds are considered additional welds and Is Additional Selection for a Lot option is selected for that weld.

  3. Select the option Reweld, if you want to reweld the remaining welds done by the welder.

    1. From the Welder list, select the welder whose welds are rejected in 3 iterations.

    2. Select the NDT for inspection and click Refresh.

      Only the NDTs that are defined in the NDE Matrix module are displayed in the NDT list.

      All the welds in the lot are displayed in Welds in Lot section. WQMS automatically picks the welds done by the selected welder and displays in the Selected Welds in Lot section.

    3. Click Save.
