In this module, you can load piping welds directly from a single file or load F files and L files as separate files.

  1. Click SPG Welds.

  2. Click Load Drawings to load only L files (drawing files). After the files are loaded, you can view the drawing numbers in the list.

  3. Click Load Data to load L files and F files from a single Excel file.

  4. Click Load SPG Data . The SELECT SPOOLGEN FILES box appears.

  5. Click Browse across Upload F file to load the F files (Weld information files), select the required Excel file and click Open.

  6. Click Browse across the Upload L file to load the L files (drawing related files), select the required Excel file and click Open.

The revision number in both F files and L files must be same.

  7. Click Load.

  8. In the search bar, enter *, select any filter criteria, and click Refresh .

The software displays all the ISO/Drawing Numbers that satisfy the filter criteria.

If you want particular drawing numbers to be displayed in the ISO/Drawing No list:

    • Copy the ISO/Drawing numbers from the Excel sheet and paste them in the Search bar. After you paste the drawing numbers in the Search bar, they are separated with the | symbol.

For example, If you copy two drawing numbers from the Excel sheet and paste them in the Search bar, the drawing numbers appear as as HXN81X-S91011-IS030015|HXN81X-S91011-IS030016 separated with the | symbol.

    • In the Search bar, type the ISO/Drawing number in the format below:

*last two digits of the drawing number* or *Drawing number pattern*

For example, if the drawing number is HXN81X-S91011-IS030015, in the Search bar, type *15* or type *S91011*. Then only the drawing numbers related to the pattern will be displayed in the ISO/Drawing No list.

This is applicable to all the modules of Weld Quality Management System where ever there is a filter criteria for ISO/Drawing numbers.

  9. Select an ISO from the list, and all the welds on that ISO are displayed in the table.

  10. Select the welds and click Generate Weld Cardto generate a report for the weld data.
