Click Place Support
on the Place toolbar. Alternatively, click Add > Support.
The Selection ribbon displays.

The Select New Material dialog box displays.

Select the item code for the type of support to place, and then click OK.
The Selection ribbon updates to show the details for the selected support type.

Select the primary direction for the support in the Direction list.

Position the support on the component.
The Selection ribbon updates again to show Keypoint position
, Max and Offset values.

On the Selection ribbon, type the required Offset. The Max box shows the maximum allowable value for the Offset. In the Offset box, type a value between zero and the Max value.
OR
Click
to cycle through component keypoints until you locate the point at which to position
the support.

Click OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software adds the support to the component.
To view the support as it will appear in the generated drawing, click Update Current View 
.
