Select Add > Annotation Command to display the Selection ribbon. You can also select Place Info
on the Place toolbar.

On the Selection ribbon, select Pipeline-Drawing-Number in the Type list.

Type a number in the Identifier box. For example, type 34-nx-1002.

In the Graphics window, select the object in the pipeline to which to add the pipeline drawing identifier.

Select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software displays the corresponding short description (PDN) and the number that you typed as the associated text.

The associated text is the customized type identifier the fabricator allocates to each full type isometric.

When using this type of sequence number on multi-sheet pipelines, you must also include the relevant number of drawing split points in the pipeline data file. The pipeline drawing number can be output on either full or spool isometrics.
