A spool drawing number is used to identify/track/control each individual drawing without using the usual pipeline reference/spool number/identification. The spool drawing number is output only on a spool isometric drawing.

Select Place Info
on the Place toolbar or select Add > Annotation to display the Selection ribbon.

Select Spool-Drawing-Number in the Type list.

Type a number in the Identifier box. For example, type SPL-AB-10004.

In the Graphics window, select the object in the pipeline to which to add the client drawing identifier and then select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
The software displays SDN and the number you entered as the associated text.
