Displays information about the material of the selected component or weld. The information on this tab is read only.
Each of the four panels displays a distinct set of information.
1 - Material Properties panel
Lists the industry standard material attributes for the selected component or weld, along with the values that are defined in the active specification. Industry standard material attributes include properties such as Item Code, Description, Weight, SKEY, and Geometric Standard.
2 - Material Attributes panel
Displays user-specified attributes and their corresponding values in the active specification. These attributes are populated from the material attribute definitions in the Material Editor software. If no user-specified attributes exist, then this panel is empty. See the Material Editor Help.
3 - Keypoints panel
Displays the keypoint properties for the selected material.
Initially, a pipeline object has the same keypoints (and properties) as the material of which it is an instance. If you edit the object, for example, by changing a keypoint end preparation, the material is unchanged.
4 - Legs panel
Displays the the dimensions for each leg of the selected object. For example, a pipe and a weld are defined by a single leg, whereas an elbow is defined by two legs.
