Define spool import settings using a drawing style - Intergraph Spoolgen - Help

1. Click Start > All Programs > Intergraph Spoolgen > Tools > I-Configure to open the I-Configure application.

2. Select a project in the Project View panel, and click Project Defaults to open the Project Defaults dialog box.

3. Locate Spool Naming Method in the DisplayName list.

4. Double-click the Value box, select Use Import Properties, and then click OK.

5. Expand the selected project in the Project View panel so that the associated drawing styles are visible.

6. Select the spool import drawing style for your type of project:

   For a legacy Spoolgen project, select SGImport.

   For a SpoolgenDB, select Import.

   Click Edit in the Properties panel to open Isogen Configuration and display the Home screen.

7. Click Settings on the Spools panel to open the Configuration view and display the Settings panel.

8. Expand Spool Identifiers, and set the spool import properties listed below:

   • Spool Drawing Name Rule

   • Size

   • Type

   • Length

   • Allocation

   • Sequence

   • Prefix

9. Expand Enclosures, and then set the Style and Layout properties.

10. Click to write the settings to the style file.

11. Click to close Isogen Configuration, and then click File > Exit to close I-Configure.
