  • You can switch on the toggle of each category to view the objects present in the category on the graphical view.

  • You can give unique color code for each category of the objects. A color picker is available to choose the color of your choice.

  • The number in parenthesis beside the category indicates the number of objects listed in the category.

  • You can search for all the objects using the search bar from the list of all categories.

  • You can click an object in the list view to select it in the model. The selected object is highlighted.

  • You can locate the object by using the locate option and it's displayed on the graphical model.

  • You can click the list down arrow to view the list of objects under each category.

  • Each category lists out the object in its category along with dependent objects. For example, if an object is added and has three other dependent objects, all four objects are listed in the Added category.

  • You can view the list of properties and relationships for an object by using the show properties and relationship option as explained below:

    New

Properties and relationships added for objects in the project configuration are listed here.

    Modified

Properties and relationships modified for objects in the project configuration are listed here. For each modified property or relationship, you can view the As Claimed, Current Config, and Parent Config details.

    Removed

Properties and relationships removed for objects in the project configuration are listed here.

    Unchanged

Properties and relationships that are unchanged for an object in the project configuration are listed here.

  • A sort and filter option is available along with the name, description, and type columns for each category.

  • Additionally, you can also use the individual options available for each object when you click . You can use Locate, InfoMap, Pin, and Actions options for the selected object alone.

SHARED Tip If you encounter a transaction deadlock error while viewing the objects related to a change action using VDS, it might be because another user is working on the same set of objects using an operation like Extend, Reduce, Transfer, or Cancel which locks objects. Retry the operation again later.
