A Trunnion support uses all the General Attributes specified in the Common Attributes section and the following attributes:

TrunnionType

Specifies the codelist value that determines if the Trunnion is a single or a Double Trunnion.

You can use a Double Trunnion on a straight pipe only and a Single Trunnion on a straight pipe or on elbows.

Specifies a codelist value that determines how a cap plate is connected to the end of the Trunnion Pipe.

HorzPipeConnection

Specifies a codelist value that determines the point at which the Trunnion connects with the supporting structure when the Trunnion is placed on a pipe.

This attribute is used only when the Trunnion is supporting a pipe or an elbow that is parallel to the supporting structure.

ElbowConnection

Specifies a codelist value that determines the point at which the trunnion connects with the supported elbow.

This attribute is used only when the Trunnion supports a pipe elbow.

1 - Center - Trunnion is lined up with the center of the horizontal pipe.

2 - Inside - Top or bottom of the trunnion os lined up with the horizontal pipe on the inside of the elbow curve.

3 - Outside - Bottom or top of the trunnion is lined up with the horizontal pipe on the outside of the elbow curve.

4 - Top - Top of the trunnion is lined up with the bottom of the horizontal pipe, irrespective of the direction of the elbow curve.
