This article describes transferring licenses from one end use site to another. This transfer can be from a site using SmartPlant License Manager licenses to a site using Intergraph Smart Licensing licenses (SPLM to ISL). Or, the transfer can be from a site using Intergraph Smart Licensing licenses to another site using Intergraph Smart Licensing licenses (ISL to ISL).

Contact your local order administrator to request the transfer and start the process.

ISL end use site to another ISL end use site

Contact your local order administrator to request the transfer and start the process.

Your order administrator generates an alternate key in your old keystore that you can use until you can convert your users to a new key.
There will be a time limit on the alternate key. You must switch your users to the
new key within this time limit.

Your order administrator moves the production licenses from the old site to the new one.

Your order administrator generates a new key in a new keystore associated with the new site.

You must make the new keystore on the new site available to your users.
For a site-based configuration, follow one of the following methods:

Under Configuring ISL > Configurations, open your old site configuration. In the Site List, use the edit button to add the new keystore.The client computers will get an updated configuration automatically.

Under Configuring ISL > Configurations, open the new site configuration. Download the CCI file, and distribute it to your users to load in Smart Licensing Client.
For a project-based configuration:

Add the new keystore to all of the configurations with the old keystore. The client computers will get an updated configuration automatically.
