  1. In the left Navigation Panel, click Run MTO Job. Alternatively, you can press the next button 4 times. You will pass the Disposition Rule Set page, Document Type Set page, and Email Template Set page, which is not used in this Tutorial.

  2. On the Run MTO Job page, click New Job.

  3. Enter the job name ‘PIP-001’ in the Job cell, and add ‘1st MTO’ as the Short Description and the Description.

  4. In the BOM Data Selection Options section, select 00-DEF as the Minimum List Status
    Leave the Issue Status empty and set the checkmark on Best Quantity, and 100% BOM Pos.

  5. In the Quantity Calculation Options section, make sure the Scope of Interest is automatically set to ‘All Quantities’, Disposition Rule is ‘NONE’ and Set Increased Quantity and Handle Assemblies option is checked, while List Node Factor is unchecked.

  6. In the Requisition Options section, check both options: For Purchase and Technical Evaluation Required.

  7. In the Supplement Creation Options section, select the check boxes for:

    • Delete Unreleased Supplements - to delete any unreleased supplements.

    • Delete Empty Requisitions - to delete empty requisitions.

    • Delete Unchanged Requisitions - to delete unchanged requisitions.

      Unselect the check box for:

    • Update Inquiry Requisitions - to update the inquiry requisitions.

    • Keep Attachments - to keep the attachments.

    • Keep Manual Requisition Line Items - to keep all manually created requisition line items.

  8. In the CIP Execution Options section, select the After deleting empty/unchanged requisitions option and select Get ROS Date and Get Weight as CIP procedures.

  9. Click Save, and then click Run Job button.

  10. A Job Scheduler message appears. Click Online and OK.

    If the job was successful, a message appears informing you about the job result, as displayed in the following image.

  11. Click OK to complete the job.

  12. In case of an error, you can use the View button to open the Show Log file of RUN MTO Job window. Here,you can check the log file to find the reason for the problem.

    The Job Statistics section displays all information relating to Job Run Date, Job Started By, MTO Return Code, Number of Requisitions Created, Number of Requisition Line Items, Total Jobs, Run Successfully, Run Successfully with Warnings, Failed, Scheduled and Reversed.

  13. Click the View button beside Unused BOM Positions to open a Window where BOM positions that were NOT handled by the MTO job are displayed.
    If all settings were made correctly as described in the previous chapters, the screen should not show any positions as displayed.

  14. Open the Home > Requisitions > Maintain Requisition.

  15. In the Search: All Text Columns enter PIP-001, and click Go to display the requisitions created by the MTO job.

  16. Scroll to the right to display the MTO job related information.

  17. Click the requisition name in the Engineering Requisition field to open Requisition Details.
