Purpose
This section explains how to define a work package that is used for Forecast and Reservation runs. The work package defined in this exercise includes the BOM nodes created during the ‘How to Manage BOM’ tutorial. For more information, see Manage BOM.
Exercise

Open the Work Packages screen from the Home > Site > Setup > Work Packages.

Click Add Row
in Work Packages block, to create a new record.

Enter WP-VA-2 in the Work Package field.

Select the Required-on Site date using the date picker
button in the ROS Date field.

Enter the Short Description and Description fields. Save the changes.

In the second block (Work Package Details), click the Nodes button.
The BOM List Nodes window opens where you can select BOM nodes to be assigned to the work package.

Click the Expand icon next to the List node in the tree to expand the node.

Select the check box for the node Node-VA-2.

Click Fill In
button to populate the selected List Nodes into the Work Packages Details block

Click Results button.
A window opens where the work package result appears, that is, the BOM positions included in the work package.

Click ‘Site’ in the Navigation bar, to navigate to the Site Menu.
